Recording Commissioning Slips and Related Transactions
Transactions and statuses related to commissioning slip records are:

  1. When you save a slip of Commissioning transaction, the status information of all assets in the slip changes into "Available".
  1. When you save commissioning transaction, program updates the current allocation location information. The available quantities and current allocation locations of other assets are updated. The available quantity is always updated in main units.
  1. The target allocation location in the asset lines of commissioning slips that are related to purchase or transfer slips is the allocation location specified in the line. The target allocation location of child assets is the parent asset. When the record is created, the commissioning record is saved in database for both the asset and related child assets. Slip links are also saved for all lines. Furthermore, when a purchase or a transfer related transaction (except for the related assets) is recorded, application updates "Purchase Date", "Depreciation Start" and "Cost" information of the asset record that belongs to the relevant record, and it establishes purchase slip relation. This slip relation is important especially for the price difference applications in invoice. The unit price of the related slip is considered as the cost of each asset.
  1. Resource usage record of Allocating type is generated for the assets of which Target Allocation Location types are Asset / Asset Part / Org. Unit / Employee / AR/AP.
  1. If an asset is linked to a material, that asset must be related to a transfer or purchase slip. In this case, application generates Asset Output Slip if the target allocation location of the asset is Asset / Asset Part / Org. Unit / Employee / AR/AP.
