Increases and decreases in local currency amounts of account transactions in foreign currency due to exchange rate value changes in time are tracked using the Exchange Rate Difference Accounts (Payable and Receivable). This option is used to record the G/L account codes to be used to track Exch. Rate Diff. Accounts (Payable) and Exch. Rate Diff. Accounts (Receivable) posted to G/L. When G/L Codes are assigned, the filter windows are used to specify the G/L Account Codes, Overhead Pools, Connection Codes to be applied for each transaction, division and/or department transactions to be tracked, and whether or not the codes specified here will be transferred into records as default. The filter options of the Exch. Rate Diff. Account (Payable)/Exch. Rate Diff. Account (Receivable) windows are:
