Thanks to budget definitions, incomes and expenses are estimated for the next working period, and conformity of these estimations are tracked within the period.
Budget definitions are done on the basis of divisions. Budgets defined for different divisions are combined and a general budget is drawn up.
Budget definitions are saved with Budget Cards option located under Main Records menu of General Ledger program module. Budget type is specified in Type field located in Analytic Budget Records list. It consists of the following options:

  • Budget Record Types
  • General Budget

Budget definitions have a hierarchical structure. Added budgets are assigned a hierarchical number automatically by the application. Thanks to this code, budgets can be tracked under a hierarchical structure.

When a budget is transferred to another budget, hierarchy code is updated accordingly. "Arrange Hierarchy Codes" option located in right mouse button menu is used to group Budget Definitions by giving hierarchy codes.
Options located in right mouse button menu and button located in analytic budget records list are used in order to make a new budget definition and perform transactions on existing definitions.
