The input and output quantities of the products within the BOM are automatically calculated from the information entered into the Quantity Formula field. Specific constants such as temperature and dilation factor defined for the company can also be used while generating the formulas. The company constants to be used in the quantity formula and their values are recorded using BOM Constants option located in the right mouse button menu.
The BOM constants window lists the Company Production Constants to be applied to the bill of materials. The company production constants are specified using "Select Company Production Constant" option located in the right mouse button menu of the BOM constants window. The BOM constant to be applied is checked using the search key or the mouse, and transferred into the BOM constants window by clicking "Transfer" button.
