Inspection criteria to be used in operations are specified using Inspection Criteria Assignments option located in the right mouse button menu of the Operations option located in the Main Records menu of the Production Definitions section of the LOGO application.

The values of inspection criteria assigned to operations are entered through the Production Orders located in the Transactions menu of the Production Control section.

The inspection criteria set connected to the operation is displayed on the inspection criteria code field of the Inspection Criteria Value Entry tab located on the production order window.

Values of inspection operations are recorded using Inspection Criteria Values Entry option located in the right mouse button menu of the production order window.

Inspection results are recorded on related lines according to criteria specified on the inspection criteria set.

The action to be taken if the inspection result of the operations does not match with values specified on the inspection set is specified on the Inspection Parameters located in the Definitions menu of the Administration section.

This parameter contains the following options one of which will be applied when values are not in conformity:

  • Proceed
  • Block
  • Warn User

If a warning is required to be displayed when inspection criteria values are not entered on the production order or when results are not in conformity, a warning message indicating inappropriate inspections is displayed when the status of the production order is changed to complete.

Production order status can be set as "completed" using two methods.

The user may change the status field to "completed". In such cases, a warning message is displayed before recording the order when the status is changed.

The second method is to change the production order status to complete by setting the work order status to complete. A warning message is displayed when the production order is attempted to be recorded after the work order status change. If the user enters a non-conforming value, a warning is displayed during the recording operation on the inspection criteria value entry window.
