Material Addition option is used to compare the dispatch quantity and the inventory quantity of the materials in the sales dispatch before being removed from the inventory. The aim is to avoid excess output exceeding the material quantity, and to provide the output information of the materials tracked by Location or Serial/Lot Number.
The option is located in the right mouse button menu of the Dispatch/Receipt lines. The window lists Total Requirement Quantity for each material in the dispatch. The requirement quantities and delivery methods are differently displayed in the list depending on the material tracking methods.
If the tracking is not performed, the total quantity of the material in the dispatch lines and the inventory total in the source warehouse are listed.
If lot / serial numbers tracking is performed, the total quantity of the material in dispatch lines, and the delivery status in regard to the input transactions are listed.
If track by location is performed, the total quantity of the material in dispatch lines, and the source inventory locations are listed.
When Material Addition
window is closed by clicking on "Save" button, the information listed in the window is transferred into the dispatch lines along with the Serial/Lot Number or Location Info of the tracked materials.
